Putting the drivers side valve cover gasket back on without popping the gasket loose is a nightmare. Took me 4 hrs
You can get the valve cover out without removing all that stuff. Once it’s loose take all the screws out of the valve cover pop it off from where it’s sitting and slide the back down and you can lift the front side and wedge it out
Love ram content
how to know Super 7 car frame dimension? Please let me know .
This car frame metal is 6061 aluminum pipe. Please let me know .
Hi great video very informative. My wife and I have just bought one in South wales (UK) 2020 model and collecting it in a few days can’t wait to see what it will be like. 👍
Looks like I’m late to the party. I’m building an LS engine but haven’t found a car to put it in. I’m excited to play catch up on your videos!
Great explanation of the seals, thank you
Awesome video!👀😎👍
Raybucks, sells molded to fit rockers that fit perfect cab corners too. Then blast the fluid film inside all the holes made into the rockets and inner rockets. Fun fun
Thank you for showing I'm going to do it to my truck that I pass the same thing to him.
Pcm or injector harness it's also for the coil packs.
Excellent video! Thank you!
Get ours tomorrow🙂
I just got this dashcam. It has a rear camera that works, but I don't have the F/R option on the main menu to switch between front and rear cameras. Why is mine slightly different?
Is there a part 3
Come on, man. Speak English.
Nice Ford GT.at 13:40
134 and 1234yf are not the same
My 2015 ram 1500 hemi has around 700,000km on the bottom end. My compression readings are still around the same as yours. Ive swapped the cam, springs, valves, and valve seals. Head gasket also... The bottom end and 8 speed transmission have been solid. If they could figure out the electrical issues and the lifter failure issues, these engines would be (in my opinion) flawless.
How long did it actually take. Great video.
I agree with everything you've said and now it's 2024. The proximity sensors are way to sensitive for most garages. For me the level 1 charger was just fine.
Name of the software to print, please.
How do you update it
Should have mixed the resin with the body filler, then hardner. Works perfect.
Hey Jock, just sold my 8 year old leaf. Never had a single issue. Always wanted the mini se but couldn’t stretch to it until two days ago. Like you lm loving it. Watched all your mini vids prior to buying mine and want to say thanks for the information and unbiased opinion. Cheers mate from New Brunswick 👍😁
Hey Dave! Long time no see. Hope to run into you again at an event!
Sounds like exactly what I’m going through with my 2012 Ram Laramie 5.7 Hemi. I did same as you, plugs, then coil pack. Getting ready to replace the injector but wondering if I shouldn’t just go straight to the PCM. Thank you for the detailed video. However my BIGGEST surprise of the video was seeing a familiar face from a Model Railroad channel I’ve been watching! 😉
Creo que es la falla del árbol de levas en cilindro 5.
insall an inline gas check valve. she no getting gas................all drains back to tank......

I recently bought a 2013 ram Laramie longhorn,2 weeks ago, with 88k original miles. Cleanest, and nicest used truck I have came across in a very long time. Rides and drives like a new truck still.
Nicely done!
Water Separator?
Tighten the nut on the valve, bet it won't leak after that.
Yes! Good tip! It's called a "packing nut" which is tapered so the seal tightens more to the shaft as you tighten the nut. If it's as tight as it goes and still leaks, it needs a new seal or simply replace the valve. If you have to loosen the packing nut just to turn the valve and it leaks as soon as you loosen the nut, the packing is shot. When new, the nut should be just tight enough to allow valve to turn while keeping the shaft from leaking, but that's all - some crank it tight thinking it's supposed to be tight which can prematurely wear out the seal or make the valve difficult to turn. Would be wise to have the correct size open-end wrench handy to snug that nut if it starts to leak like that. But if you tighten the nut too much and cannot close the valve quickly enough, you might have a good old fashion scramble to... loosen nut... leak, leak, leak... "OW!"... close valve... leak, leak, leak... "OW!"... tighten nut. He made me LOL, "Ow!" I've worked on cars over 40 years and that's the exact luck I have... goes completely differently than I pictured in my mind! ALSO!... wear "LAB GOGGLES and/or FACE SHIELD!"... you DO NOT want refrigerant in your eyes!! Thanks!
Well done
Maybe I just got lucky but I'm now at 180,000 km without the infamous HEMI TICK TICK TICK CAM & FAILURE. I can tell you that I have used high-quality 5w20 synthetic engine engine oil and increased oil change intervals to every 5000 miles or 8000 km. Time will tell, but I also have not allowed my engine to excessively idle as the majority of the cam and lifter failures where the engine was allowed to idle excessively such as vehicles, service vehicles, police, taxi, cab, delivery services, Ambulances, colder weather, environments up north, etc. Maybe I'm just getting lucky but I'm definitely keeping an ear on it lol.
Once you get a P0300 code, such as you just did in the video that simply tells you that there is more than one cylinder misfiring in which Usually points to cam and lifter failure. That is assuming everything else on your vehicle is in perfect running condition from the exhaust from the intake, side, engine oil, coolant, air filter, fuel injector cleaner. I'm sure you've already used. no restrictions in the exhaust manifold etc. if everything else is checking out to have no problems and in healthy working order? Then unfortunately you will likely need a cam and lifter kit handsome really good high-quality synthetic oil afterwards. Once that's done to prevent it from happening again a good counter measure would be a high flow oil pump. It's the oil pump that's on the big brother to the 5.7 L which is the 6.4L HEMI 6.4 392 HEMI. It's a factory direct bolt on oil pump that the one in your current engine in order to get the proper oil pressure and not throw a fault code.
You could also perform a cylinder leak down test in order to determine if it is, in fact, the cam and lifter causing them misfire with the intake valves, not fully seating and the exhaust valves because of the worn lobe or lobes on the camshaft. if you don't have the leak down tester, which is the opposite have a compression tester which could also be your next test checking the compression of each cylinder or just two or three of them to get an average of above 100 psi at cold engine operating temperature. Ideally, you would like to see approximately 150 psi on a good healthy engine during the compression test. if you do choose to hold the throttlebody open during the test, it's best to make sure nothing will get sucked down the throttlebody into the intake manifold (Ask me how I know)? If you're able to rig the throttle body to stay open, using some type of steel rod, then it would stay open fully during the test because if you just put your foot down on the gas pedal that won't work like it used to in the old days because of the drive-by wire It'll just put it into a flooded fuel condition in order to purge the fuel system of access fuel. if you don't hold the flap open on the throttle body, that's OK too but just make sure the same test is done for each cylinder at the same temperature so it's best to do it all at once in order to get an accurate reading. Regardless of which route you choose of the throttle body it only matters what the average of all of the cylinders is? If you did a compression test of all eight cylinders and seven of them were 125 and one of them was 75. The average would be 125 and whichever cylinder has 75 psi is the culprit. Next test would be the leak down test in order to verify whether or not it's the intake and or exhaust valves not seating properly while keeping in mind, there will be some acceptable amount of lead down psi through the piston rings into the crank case just like a normal combustion process of up to approximately 11% of the initial reading during the leak down test is acceptable. Again a healthy 5.7L V-8 HEMI ENGINE consistently averages 150 psi per cylinder on a healthy fully functioning engine. no less than 100 psi on any given cylinder is considered acceptable. Anything less than 100 psi is in need of repair. You can look at the valves going up and down, but it won't tell you the true health of a cylinder within an engine unless you perform the pressure tests. Hope this helps.
Leak down test won't show a worn cam lobe.
I'm just watching this video now, but I'm sure you've already figured out that you need a new cam and lifter kit to prepare your misfire on multiple cylinders at higher RPM is when it's most noticeable on these engines that's why at low RPM it didn't throw a code and at higher RPM The misfire becomes more pronounced based on the speed of the engine and the more frequent opportunity for misfires.
Crown vic to 67 mustang???
67 mustang crown vic ???
Looks great Dave!
try using brake fluid squirt into vacuum line of wiper, may make it work better.😄
Hi Scott, do you know what the plans were that the chassis was based on?
Been waiting for progress on the Se7en. I really want to hear that rotary spin up.
I didn't know that pressure washers were that loud, and I'm glad I didn't buy one. They're just as loud as a lawnmower!
Great build! Wil that work for a 67 mustang??
Keep a look out in the near future - Willy's '78 T/A White Lightning's restoration is about complete and will be back on the street soon - it's been a two year project but we're pretty much 2-3 weeks away...
ive been looking for a video on how to remove it and this came up, Thank you! now my monte carlo will read the right speed!
